Engineering Microbiology (EM, ISSN 2667-3703, CN37-1547/Q93) is an English academic journal hosted by Shandong University. Supported by the “Strong Periodical Promotes Learning” plan, EM was selected as a high-level new journal in the “China Excellent Science and Technology Journal Action Plan” in 2022. It is China’s first English open-access journal in the field of engineering microbiology. Prof. Zhang Youming, a member of the German National Academy of Engineering and European Academy of Sciences, serves as the Editor-in-Chief. The editorial board consists of 32 renowned scholars and experts worldwide. EM is indexed in multiple databases and platforms, including DOAJ, Scopus, Google Scholar, and Dimensions. It accepts original research papers, reviews, short communications, and research highlights, offering professional and fast peer-review services. Our aim is to create a world-class, highly regarded, and international academic journal in the field of microbiology. We are currently recruiting a full-time English academic journal editor to join our team. Responsibilities include manuscript screening, peer-review coordination, editing and proofreading, and publication management, as well as liaison and communication with authors, readers, editorial board members, and publishers. The editor will also assist in organizing journal conferences and compiling materials, facilitate necessary revisions and enhancements of articles, and participate in the implementation of the journal’s development plan.
